It’s time to choose a character and assemble a costume because from September 15 to 16, Madman Anime Festival will be taking over the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre to show off all things anime.
The event line-up includes the Australian premiere of anime series My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and the world premiere of Sword Art Online – Alicization, along with a first look at Tokyo Ghoul creator Shu Ishida’s very own manga gallery.
Among the special guests will be Dragon Ball Z voice actor Christopher Sabat, Fate voice actors Ayako Kawasumi and Kōki Uchiyama, and Animax Anisong Grand Prix finalist Luna Haruna.
You’ll also want to keep a touch-up kit on hand to keep you looking your best, because MadFest will be hosting Australia’s longest running cosplay competition, the Madman National Cosplay Championship.
