Letters from the Inside

Hear about the lives of local prisoners in a new project by literacy advocate and Castlemaine local Lisa D’Onofrio. For Letters from the Inside D’Onofrio has been working with local prisons to write letters to inmates and discover their stories. Selected letters will then be turned into a theatrical performance to be shown at Old Castlemaine Gaol and Railway Café and Tracks Bar Gallery over July 6-7. If you can’t make it to either performance, never fear – the shows will be recorded and broadcast over Main FM and be made available online.
