If you're a business owner, chef or restauranter, Fine Food Australia is well and truly the best place to learn, connect and grow. More than 700 exhibitors will be present across 12 floor categories, showcasing everything from retail and hospitality to meat, seafood and poultry.

Expand your knowledge at the Source Kitchen

Explore the wonders of Australian produce through riveting culinary demonstrations, interviews and workshops with the Source Kitchen. Running daily from 11am until 4pm, join experts Tawnya Bahr and Lucy Allon as they dive head first into the Aussie food scene.

Expect workshops and talks such as Battle of the Sangathe ultimate sandwich competition; Sharing the Love of Lamb, an exploration of how lamb adds value to menus; Discovering the Seasonality of Indigenous Ingredientsa lesson in native ingredients; and many more.

Get competitive at the industry competitions

Ready to turn up the heat in the kitchen? Four exciting industry competitions will take place across the show floor at Fine Food Australia 2024.

Don't miss out on catching the industry's rising talent at Bake Skills Australia, where a young crop of bakers and pastry chefs fight for the championship. The ACF Culinary Challenge will also take place where chefs, trainees and apprentices showcase their skills in a number of competitions against the clock. 

There is also the Nestlé Golden Chef's Hat competition, which offers junior chefs a unique chance to showcase their skills in live cook-offs held to internationally recognised standards.

Last but not least, the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition returns for its 35th year. Bakers, pastry cooks, butchers and chefs will vie for the crown of Australia's best meat pies, gourmet pies, pasties and sausage rolls. 

All of the competitions will be held during show hours. 

Hear a masterclass on industry trends and innovations

A line-up of hugely impressive chefs, restaurants and food professionals are scheduled to attend this year's event. 

Talking Trends will return to offer invaluable insights into the ever-evolving trends, behaviours and innovations influencing the food service and hospitality industry. 

Join leading experts on the Talking Tech stage to hear about how technology is creating new opportunities and transforming business. Over at the Mayer's Innovation & Patisserie Stage, attendees will be able to watch demonstrations from some of Australia's best bakers, chocolatiers and pastry chefs.

These free-to-attend sessions will be a handy tool for anyone looking to elevate their skills, keep up with the latest trends and upscale their business.

Raise a glass to 40 years of Fine Food Australia

Roll out the red carpet because this year's Fine Food Australia has an important 40th birthday to mark. A big bash will be thrown on September 2 at the Showtime Events Centre, and you're invited. 

This ticketed event – which you can snag for $95 per person – will be the industry's own Oscar's night, with drinks and canapes aplenty.
