Time Out says

Darebin’s Fuse Festival hosts multi-arts events every autumn and spring, and boy does the first edition for 2024 look like a treat. For one day only on Saturday, March 23, Bundoora Homestead Art Centre will be brimming with music, local food and drink, and a First Nations celebration with Aunty Brenda Fahey.

Local luminary DJ Jnett will play host for the day. She’s known as one of the biggest names in the Melbourne house scene, and has been spinning records and lighting up dancefloors since the early nineties.

Stalwart DJ duo Wax’o Paradiso will take to the decks on the day, whipping up their speciality: a reliably playful and positive dancefloor experience. They’ll be joined by purveyor of jazz, afro and funk Teymori, known for taking crowds on an elegantly groovy journey.

As the cherry on top of an already stacked musical line-up, singer, songwriter, producer and Noongar woman Bumpy will also take to the stage with her shimmering neo-soul and R’n’B.

You’re welcome to bring along any little humans in your life, who’ll be delighted by kid’s entertainment from Victoria University. Show up hungry and ready to enjoy the Meet the Makers Picnic, showcasing local producers like Jamsheed Wines, Akimbo Bread and more. Find out more at the website.
