What could be better than huge hair, drag performances and club bangers? What about if you threw in unlimited booze? And had all that at breakfast time?
Coinciding with the airing of RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, the Smith is running a bottomless drag brunch every Sunday from noon to 2pm, and then again from 3 to 5pm (which, yes, we admit is not breakfast time anymore, even on a Sunday).
You can choose among breakfast favourites like smashed avo and ricotta hotcakes, or go more lunch-inclined with a steak sanga or prawn roll. Serves are on the small side, so you might want to add hot chips for another $11. Most importantly, you can have as many beers, wines or cocktails as you want for the duration. The cocktails are on theme and include a G-A-Yperol Spritz (Aperol, prosecco, soda, blood orange), Bitches Love Cranberry (vodka, prosecco, lemon, cranberry) and Gin is my Sin (gin, lemon and apple). Or have house red, white or sparkling or selected tap beers.
Throughout the brunch, drag queens including Max the Drag Queen, Babyslut and more perform high-energy numbers, lip-synching if not for their lives, then for your entertainment. Expect high kicks, death drops and lots of laughs.
