Time Out says

Why do we celebrate Christmas with turkey, all the trimmings and fake snow in the middle of summer? If we're going to adopt northern hemisphere weather, maybe we should have some northern hemisphere weather to go with it. Hence the great Aussie tradition of Christmas in July. And since Christmas and fish go together, it seems appropriate to celebrate the holiday at the Melbourne Aquarium.

The Sea Life Aquarium is holding a full Christmas lunch of roast turkey with cranberry stuffing, pineapple-glazed ham, roast duck fat potatoes and roast vegetables. To start there will be tiger prawns and freshly shucked oysters, and dessert is, of course, traditional plum pudding with warm brandy custard and mince pies. To wash it down you have the choice of unlimited sparkling wine, mulled wine, still white or red wine, beer or cider, plus coffee or tea.

It's $129 per person ($49 for children under 12, $79 for those 13-17), and the lunch includes all-day entry into the aquarium.
