Treat your partner/crush/bestie/anyone-who-loves-nature to one of the BBC Earth Experience’s twilight sessions at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The twilight sessions are running at 6:30pm and 7pm every Thursday.

Nothing says romance more than the soothing sounds of David Attenborough’s charming English accent, while you explore our seven unique continents on a 360-degree audio visual journey.

Fans of the television series Seven Worlds, One Planet will instantly recognise the show’s footage and music as they gaze up at the multiple screens of epic proportions. The program was BBC One’s most watched factual TV show of the year in the UK, and was a big hit with Aussie audiences when it premiered on Channel Nine in 2019.

The immersive experience takes viewers on a journey across the world’s spectacular continents, where you’ll lose yourself in a forest full of fireflies and witness a four-tonne elephant seal fight.

BBC Experience recommends that you roam freely and at your own space around the main gallery, as there are multiple storylines to enjoy. There are also the micro life and water life breakout zones to marvel at after you’ve taken your time wandering the main exhibition. You'll also have the option of indulging in a cheese platter and dessert at the habitat cafe afterwards.

BBC Earth Experience is open daily, with tickets from $35. For more information and to purchase tickets, head to the BBC Earth Experience website
