Culture and cocktails, vibes and vodka, gigs and gin, Rising and rum… it’s safe to say that Archie Rose Distilling Co is the perfect pairing for Melbourne’s major winter arts festival. Drink and dance the chilly nights away at Rising 2023 from June 7-18 with artfully blended cocktails, boozy hot chocolates, mixers featuring Archie Rose's award-winning Single Malt Whisky and more.
Park yourself in the heart of Rising at St Paul’s Cathedral Grounds for a thirst-quenching and stomach-satisfying adventure at Night Trade. Amongst the curated chaos, you’ll find Archie Rose’s mega Negroni tank, which is fresh-tapped and ready to play. If Negronis aren’t your vibe, then you can kick back with one of Archie Rose’s Australian canned cocktails, which are bursting with local flavours and native botanicals, or Archie Rose’s winter favourite, single malt whisky. But that’s not all – expect a sizzling woodfire barbecue and hot pies from Hoy Pinoy and Free to Feed, warm boozy beverages, guest DJs, pop-up performances and an array of surprises to be unveiled each day.
Post feed, take a short elm-lit river stroll to Rising’s super-sized, sparkling ice rink, which you’ll find at Birrarung Marr from June 1 to July 8. Groove and glide under the starlit sky, then cosy up by the fire with a spiked Hot Chocolate featuring Archie Rose triple molasses rum or a wintry whisky mixer featuring Archie Rose’s award-winning single malt whisky.
Keep the party pumping and get your boogie on with an Archie Rose cocktail in hand at the Forum and Max Watt’s to the sounds of Ruth Radelet, Desire Marea, Black Mass and more. If you’re craving a more cultural experience, then check out THIS – an immersive theatrical performance at the Former Richmond Power Station – which you can enjoy while sipping on Archie Rose’s gin and vodka canned cocktails.
Beyond the bounds of Rising, Archie Rose is popping up at some of Melbourne’s best bars with exclusive drinks and experiences including create-and-sip masterclasses at 1806; cocktail and food pairings at Nomad (also featured in Rising: Moon Bites); a White Cane and Dragon Well Tea cocktail paired with blasphemy, white chocolate and yuzu mousse at Bouvardia; a Triple Molasses Rum Old Fashioned, paired with a membrill and manchego croquetta at Bomba; winter-inspired whisky and rum cocktails at Dom’s Social Club; and an Archie Rose feature menu at Black Kite Commune.
