For the first time ever Adventure Park has announced it will open its gates after dark this summer. The theme park will be open for business on several Friday nights throughout December and January, giving Melburnians an excellent way to beat the heat after work.
Guests will need to purchase separate tickets to the twilight sessions at Adventure Park. Included in the entry price is access to all open rides as well as the chance to catch an all-ages movie in the park’s outdoor cinema.
After a sizzling hot day the Summer Nights series will let guests cool off on one of the park’s water rides. Hop on the Gold Rush waterslides, race your mates on the Aqua Racer, chill out on the Lazy River or test your mettle on the wild Tornado (the biggest, longest proslide in Victoria). Tots can also splash around in the water playgrounds or you can enjoy one of Adventure Park’s non-water rides like the Ferris wheel, Grand Carousel and Crazy Coaster.
The usual dining venues will be open or you can bring your own snacks to save some dough. Adults can also grab a little something something to drink with the park’s bar serving beer, wine and frozen daiquiris while you relax with live music.
Adventure Park’s Summer Nights kick off on Friday, December 7 and run until late January.
