We’re not gonna lie, we thought we’d seen the last of Hamilton, everyone’s favourite boundary breaking, Tony, Grammy, Olivier and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical. We shed a silent tear when Lin-Manuel Miranda’s masterwork completed its Brisbane season, because frankly, we’ll never get enough of seeing the American Revolution play out on stage accompanied by that incredibly catchy hip hop-infused soundtrack.

But now, our hopes have been answered. Hamilton is making a triumphant return to Sydney for one last Australian season. The encore run will take over the Sydney Lyric Theatre on July 30, 2024, so the time to book your tickets to New South Wales is now, baby. Performances from July through to October are on sale here right now and prices start from $70.

In case you’ve been living under a rock since circa 2015, allow us to give you a refresher on this cult favourite show. Hamilton is a revolutionary story of passion, unstoppable ambition and the dawn of a new nation. It’s an epic saga that follows the rise of founding father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honour, love, and a legacy that would shape the course of history.
