There’s a feel-good show playing right now at Arts Centre Melbourne for a strictly limited season, and it’s arrived Down Under straight from London’s West End. From January 4 until February 11, the stage of the Playhouse is bursting to life with a cast of nine guys serving it all, live.
The Choir of Man promises to be a pint-filled good time, packed with captivating renditions of your favourite chart-topping hits. There’ll be laughs, heartwarming vibes and tunes that should have you singing and tapping your feet all night long.
Just like any good pub night, you can expect to hear songs from legendary artists like Guns N' Roses, Adele, Avicii, Paul Simon and more. Set in a traditional pub, The Choir of Man brings together a wholesome crew of world-class instrumentalists, wordsmiths and sensational singers. The talented cast includes Matthew Campbell, Jordan Donnelly (Magical Merlin the Musical), Rob Godfrey, Connor Going (Footloose!), Alistair Higgins (original West End cast) and Norton James (Jersey Boys). And of course, Nathaniel Morrison (Dancing in the Streets), Aled Pennock, Will Silver (Concerts by Candlelight), Christian Tyler-Wood (Jersey Boys), Ethan Vijn and Bradley Walwyn (Avenue Q, Little Shop of Horrors) will also be lighting up the stage.
Tickets for this joyous night at the pub are on sale now via the Arts Centre Melbourne website. Standard tickets start from $89.90 and concession tickets are from $79.90. If you’re going in a group of six or more, book together to get the group deal from $64.90.
Shows are on at 7.30pm on Tuesdays through Fridays (except January 26). On Saturdays you can catch The Choir of Man at 3.30pm or 7.30pm, or on Sundays shows are at 2pm or 5.30pm.
