A Eurocentric view of the arts makes little geographic sense in Australia, especially when what's happening in our own backyard is so damn exciting. Every three years Melbourne gets an insight into the enormous variety, creativity and innovation of the arts in the Asia-Pacific region with Asia TOPA. The festival runs from January to March 2020 and includes an incredible array of works ranging from a chaotic hypercolour South East Asian street market to a comedic bloodbath where audience members get to play dead.
