Roll up, roll up! A spectacular 80 minutes of acrobatics, dance, cyr wheel, aerial feats and more is coming to Melbourne this July. Cirque Bon Bon is the brainchild of ex-Cirque Du Soleil assistant creative director Ash Jacks and it’s headed here fresh from a sold-out Brisbane run.
Jacks says she’s pulled out “every trick in the book” to create a “magical moment” for Melbourne audiences, featuring artists who’ve performed “everywhere from Broadway to Las Vegas and London’s West End”. Now Melburnians can see it all at the Athenaeum Theatre from July 11-13, for five shows only.
Anticipate comedy as well as contortion thanks to emcee Mario Queen of the Circus and Guiness world record holding foot archery artist Shannen Michaela, who can shoot an arrow with her foot further than anyone else.
World renowned cyr wheel artist Alexandre Lane will have you falling head over heels, while artistic skating duo Emma Goh and Scott Lazaravech will whip you into a frenzy.
Cody Harrington will dazzle you with his juggling skills, hoop artist Ashleigh Roper will spin you right round, and mouth hang artist Liam Dummer will have you hanging on the edge of your seat.
Tickets to Cirque Bon Bon start from $59 and go up to $109, not including the booking fee. Get yours via Ticketmaster here.
