Time Out says

Finals fever has officially erupted in Melbourne, with AAMI Park set to host a must-win Semi Final battle between the Melbourne Storm and Sydney Roosters on Friday, September 15.

It’s all on the line for the local heroes, with the Storm desperate to win following defeat to the Brisbane Broncos in Week One of the Finals. The Sydney Roosters, meanwhile, are on a roll after a backs-to-the-wall victory over the Cronulla Sharks that extended their winning streak to six.

The game will also see two of the league’s most decorated coaches – Craig Bellamy and Trent Robinson – face off for the fourth time in a Finals Series. While Robinson currently has a slim two-one head-to-head advantage (including the 2018 Grand Final and 2019 Premilinary Final), the Storm did win both regular season clashes this year.

And there will no doubt be tension when Roosters hooker Brandon Smith comes up against his ex-club (he left Storm at the end of the 2022 season) and goes toe-to-toe with his opposite number and good mate, Harry Grant. Talk about drama.

Tickets for this must-see match are now on sale. Prices start at $25 for adults and $70 for families (two adults and two children). For more information and to grab yours, head to the website.
