Get ready to blow out the birthday candles: Melbourne-made and universally loved whisky brand Starward is turning 15. To celebrate its anniversary, Starward has launched a limited edition single malt whisky called Vitalis. But here’s the twist: it’s only available via ballot.
Named after Starward’s founder, David Vitale, Vitalis reflects the brand’s journey so far and is made up of six types of hand-selected whisky barrels that all hold a piece in Starward’s story. Featuring notes of chocolate-coated pineapples, coffee beans and tropical fruits, the auburn-coloured whisky has a long finish with a delicate balance of fruit and oak and costs $199. And from what we’ve heard, it’s absolutely delicious.
The best news is you have the chance to get your hands on this exclusive drop that you can whip out and impress at your next dinner party. All you need to do is enter the ballot, for your chance to purchase this piece of history. Hurry, as you’ve only got until November 4th to enter.
Dedicated to creating food-friendly and approachable whisky, Starward is renowned for being big on flavour and using red wine barrels to mature their whisky.
The limited edition Vitalis will go perfectly alongside your next favourite home-cooked meal or sipped neat on its own with mates. However you choose to drink your whisky, Starward is excited for you to raise a glass and celebrate with them. Responsibly, of course.
