Uniqlo: Eastland

The orderly rows of coloured sweaters (v-neck and crew) at Japanese-clothing brand Uniqlo are enough to bring a tear of joy to the eye the shopper who likes to buy multiples of the gear they love. Uniqlo also speaks of good fits, good cuts and good quality, as well as smart and serviceable fabric – for instance, Uniqlo’s cardies are sun resistant and its exercise kit is breathable (a blessing for the sweaty). All basics are covered –think non-branded jeans, cashmere jumpers, vests, T-shirts, knickers, bras, sleepwear and rainwear – all inexpensive andpresented in meticulously-folded rows. Plus, despite it’s orderliness, the store holds some surprises, including the plethora of Ghostbusters’ T-shirts. Happily now ensconced in Eastland as part of the giant refurb, you can also visit Uniqlo at Emporium and Chaddy.
