If there's two things that Melburnians love, it's markets and op-shopping. So when they combine in the form of secondhand clothing markets, we get very excited. Now, the most beloved market in Melbourne is hopping on the thrifting trend, with a brand new event called Queen Vintage taking over Queen Victoria Market.
The market will bring together some of Melbourne’s favourite vintage and pre-loved retailers all under the one roof of the C-D shed. They'll be selling nostalgic threads that will transport you back in time, with some pieces dating back as far as the 1940s. Shoppers can pick up everything from vintage designer pieces and jewellery to old-school pro sportswear and sneakers. It's essentially a thrifting paradise.
Plus, if you need to take a break from browsing the racks, there'll be a pop-up cocktail bar and food vendors to fuel your shopping stamina. The market will run on October 21 from 9am-4pm and again on December 9 (perfect timing for Chrissy shopping). For more information, check out the website.
