[title]Fashion Week is upon us once again, and this time around Levi’s is encouraging Melburnians to push the boundaries when they’re putting together their best ‘fits. Traditional boundaries in fashion (think work vs play, urban vs nature and formal vs casual) are more blurred than ever, as we all learn that the old-fashioned rules of how to put a look together were made to be broken.
Ever since Levi Strauss was granted a patent on the process of riveting pants back in 1873, the Levi’s name has become more and more synonymous with irreverent self-expression and joy. Over time, the Levi’s 501 collection has attained staple status in wardrobes around the world.
In honour of the 150th anniversary of the 501s, we’ve put together a few top picks to wear throughout the week. First up are the 501 ‘81 Jeans, designed with the back pockets higher up for a perky-looking behind.
