David Jones: Eastland

Chuck your preconceptions about DJ’s out the window. Eastland's new department store, which is being touted as the new standard for David Jones’s emporiums across the country, is so thoughtfully designed, so aesthetically pleasing and so well curated in terms of the lines that it stocks (going for quality over quantity), it almost makes the necessity to shop elsewhere redundant. Just quietly, the facilities are also nice – a trip to the lav' is more like taking respite in a ladies’ lounge than a visit to the usual department store loos.
