You don't have to get out of town to a country winery to buy delicious wines at cellar door prices because Cumulus Up, the wine bar upstairs from Cumulus Inc on Flinders Lane, is hosting the City Cellar Door and Wine on the first Saturday of each month this year up to October. It's a gold coin donation at entry, which will go to directly to OzHarvest.
Each month will focus on the wines from a particular region of Victoria, with the final event in October to showcase Victorian sparkling wines. Hungry? The Cumulus kitchen team will be roasting a whole hog for each event for tasty pork rolls to go with your wine tastings.
Want more? August and October will feature two winemaker lunches for a country-style collaborative feast with yet-to-be-confirmed winemakers at $85 a head, which you can book directly through the restaurant. Watch this space.
