Red Spice Road and Meat Fish Wine are hosting the ultimate winter warmers in June and July. If you're in need of a comforting cold weather feast, these city restaurants have just the events coming up. 

Pork and Pinot at Meat Fish Wine

Meat Fish Wine's head chef Darren Mercaldi will be cooking up a storm for the Pork and Pinot dinner, which will see a beautifully crafted five-course menu come together featuring different cuts of pork used in many ways – from jamón to crackling. The wines will be handpicked and carefully matched to the menu by Apples + Pears Group beverage manager Matthew Lamb and Sommelier Paul Bryant. Thursday June 30, 6.30pm.

Tromba Tequila Dinner at Red Spice Road

Tuck into a three-course South East Asian feast by Red Spice Road head chef Dylan McCormack. Expect Thai kaffir lime sausages, Vietnamese rice paper rolls, and barbecue chicken rice noodle cakes. Each course will be matched by refreshing Tromba Tequila cocktails which feature tropical flavours like chargrilled pineapple, fingerlime, passionfruit and chilli. Thursday July 21, 6.30pm. $80pp.

Red Spice Road vs Meat Fish Wine

Red Spice Road and Meat Fish Wine are going head-to-head in July for an East-meets-West cook-off. Meat Fish Wine head chef Darren Mercaldi will be facing off with Red Spice Road executive chef John McLeay – they'll use the same ingredients to create five very different courses each. See who comes out on top in this culinary battle and judge the chefs with your tastebuds. Thursday July 28, 7pm. $95pp; $40 or $60 wine pairing available.
