Time Out says

Inside Davis Yu’s bright and brash city den, you'll find '80s video games, a neon Ghostbusters sign and animals in sombreros overseeing the make-believe Mexican menu.

It's a little more Cancun that Yucetan here, with the likes of super sweet sticky lamb ribs and some fairly sucrose heavy confit duck leg adding a bit of gringo appeal to yet another Mexi-menu. There's some traditional gear – soft tortilla tacos with your usual pulled pork and pineapple, or juicy prawns all crunched up with a little cabbage 'slaw and packing the buggish bite of coriander, but you'll also find some Cal-Mex influences. Chimichurri (Argentinean chilli-herb condiment), plus the odd lamb's brain filling if you choose the 'secret' taco.

They're doing fun stuff with booze too, making good use of some more obscure mezcals and decent tequilas from Don Julio reposado to smooth peppery Ocho. Make sure you get a tequila-mint-lime snow cone to relive childhood times with a boozy twist.

Jumping from the second they swing open doors, a sentry in suspenders stands guard at the door, weilding a clipboard and keeping order, while a DJ keeps things at a high tempo.

The queues are long and the bill always comes in higher than you'd expect for fairly simple snacks, but Touche delivers on vibrant hustle. If that’s your jam, good times are guaranteed.
