Time Out says

As the official oldest pub in Daylesford (it opened in 1857), the Farmers Arms expertly plays two roles: local boozer and destination pub. There's a community noticeboard in the cheerful front bar, while out back there's a large dining room adorned with a neon sign and cosy nooks with swish chandeliers.

The mission here is simple: honour the vintage heritage of the venue, while still serving up a quality dining experience that celebrates the community and showcases the flavours of the region. The menu is chock-full of refined pub classics – think beer battered fish and chips, venison pot pie, duck sausages and roast pork belly.

It boasts a massive wine list and carefully curated collection of cocktails (can't pick? The Gin and Tonic with Hepburn Distillery Lyonville Classic dry gin, pink grapefruit, tonic and apple is a winner), while the beers on tap include local drops like Hepburn Springs Brewing Co Pilsner and Harcourt Apple Cider.

Whether you're looking for spot to enjoy a cheeky bev or a long Sunday lunch, the Farmers Arms has you covered.
