Brought to you by BrandWorks, the gang who previously aced the interiors and branding for The Grain Store, Roll’d and Rice Workshop, the Archway answers the prayers of hungry CBD workers stuck at the high-hundreds end of Flinders Lane, where lunch options were previously a little on the low side.
The Archway is a self-proclaimed "foodie laneway" that houses five food outposts, with one more on its way soon. Currently, you can pick up coffee and bagels at 5 and Dime, try dragon fruit smoothies and tailor-made pressed juices at Hunters’ Roots, enjoy modern Indian street food at Delhi Streets, sample delicious coffee and cakes at Altius and indulge in cute and colourful tarts and macarons at T by LuxBite.
It's the first permanent F&B project for three out of the current five businesses, and there’s a tangible sense of community between them all. If you're looking for the next generation of hospo talent, hand-picked and backed by people in the know, this is where you'll find it. The final restaurant to join the Archway's ranks is Mr Huang Jin (an export from Rialto Towers), meaning lucky office workers can soon add Taiwanese tapas and dumplings to their weekly lunch list.
