Owner Andrew Kelly previously owned North Melbourne cafe Auction Rooms and its takeaway arm which he sold to St Ali in order to focus on Small Batch. The result? One of North Melbourne's best coffee-roasteries.
Situated in Little Howard Street the cellar door and roastery offers up ethically sourced and expertly roasted beans, and the venue prides itself on having closely established relationships with its suppliers.
Behind closed doors baker Charlie Duffy, (Tivoli Road Bakery) gets to work dishing up pastries including exceptional spelt croissants, sandwiches and more too.
