If you're after a clever dose of rum and jerk chicken in your life, Queen Vee's is your destination. Owned by Ben Rosenberg (Freelancer Cafe) and chef Liam Whiticker (Movida, Gill's Diner), Queen Vee's is a Caribbean-inspired diner featuring a mandatory dose of spiced meats, salt cod fritters and oxtail stew, all designed to be washed down with a variety of rums. Tuesday nights bring an all-vegan menu for those who want a taste of the tropics without animal products.
