Melbourne's hippest gelateria Pidapipo – seriously, just look at how attractive the nice people scooping your ice cream are – has opened in Windsor, smack bang across the street from Hawker Hall. The bigger venue comes with a bigger kitchen and extended menu. Fans of Lisa Valmorbida's original flavours will be able to now buy gelato cakes (like her take on the classic Bomb Alaska seen in our gallery), gelato sandwiches, and granitas.
As per usual, the gelato will be made in-house daily and Windsor visitors will be an extra treat as Valmorbida adds new creative flavours to the mix, including avocado and lime, saffron risotto and banana and cardamom. You won't be missing out on the Nutella tap you've come to love at the Carlton shop, as that has also made the move down south.
