Time Out says

As an homage to the state's food and beverage producers, Oak and Vine at Oaks Hotel is championing dishes featuring produce by small batch and family run Victorian farmers. Focusing on a communal approach to dining, Oak and Vine has gone with a menu that hits the right notes on the comfort factor (with a dedicated 'all day comfort food' section), and bar food that runs the gamut of classic like chicken wings and pork crackling, to elegant tapas dishes like arancini balls and crisp duck on housemade milk buns.

While the produce is all local, inspiration for the menu comes from the trendiest world cuisines at the moment. The fried chicken is Korean-style, the soft shell crab tacos blends Thai and American influences and the pork ribs and po' boy sandwiches are all-American. To drink, there are wines from the state's best wineries in the cellar, craft beers and cocktails that the in-house team of mixologists think up each week.

Settle in for dinner in the formal dining room if you're after a night out, or enjoy the laid-back atmosphere in the lounge area or the al fresco dining area.
