Time Out says

Have you ever waited forever for ice cream and wondered if robots could do a better job? Wonder no longer, because Niska is an entirely robot-run ice cream shop open 7 days a week in Federation Square. There will be no human error in taking your order, arms won't get tired from scooping and you can be assured that every single scoop is the exact same size. No longer will you be waiting around for the heavy-handed scooper to make sure you get exactly what you pay for.

There are 35 flavours on offer including matcha, salted caramel, bubble gum, apple crumble, lemon, black sesame to cookies and cream. Choose your flavours and toppings from a screen and watch the team of robots assemble your sweet, frozen treat.

Creepy? Not in the slightest. Welcome to the future, one scoop at a time.
