This Southern Chinese restaurant draws inspiration from the region on Yunnan and its diverse people. This results in Chinese fare but not as you know it – it's heavily influenced by its bordering countries including Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. Naxi Folk's signature Yunnan share plate includes house made pickles, beef jerky, barbecue fish and chicken, seasonal vegetables and fresh fruit. You can also get stuck into Sichuan pepper coated chicken ribs, da su beef noodle soup and market fresh whole baked barramundi. Naxi Folk also host traditional tea cupping ceremonies on Friday and Saturday night, where the delicate preparation of the region’s famous Pu’er tea is performed by staff in traditional Naxi-inspired dress.
