Time Out says

After 12 incredible years of killer tapas, ice-cold Spanish beers and Frank Camorra’s hospo magic on Bourke Street, MoVida Aqui is set to reopen in a significant revamp. The third addition to MoVida and MoVida Next Door, Aqui’s long been a popular spot in the heart of the business district for dates, celebratory dinners and group catch-ups.

Say goodbye to the eatery’s iconic Hosier Lane milk crates and hello to cushy new levels of comfort, thanks to the Izzard Design team and their vision for a sleek, old world-inspired space. The best things about Aqui won’t change, such as the theatrical open kitchen and vibing bar, but the spacious dining experience is slated to become even roomier and an upgraded private room will offer an intimate haven for truly unforgettable gatherings.

You can also expect to see a generous range of your Movida faves on the menu: clásicos, signature rice dishes and charred treats hot from the Spanish Josper oven. Get stuck into deep-fried artichokes with almonds, grilled garlicky yabbies and the famous bomba - little balls of deep fried mashed potato filled with diced A-grade chorizo.

The relaunch is set to take place in the next week. Watch this space for more details.
