It's no secret that Greville Street's Ladro dishes out some of the tastiest pizzas in Prahran. Previously known as Ladro Greville, the pizza joint has rebranded as Ladro Tap, highlighting a focus on their beer list as well as their main offering of wood-fired pizzas.
The pizza selection is still the main game: Ladro's menu manages to be creative and diverse without engaging in any banana-bacon shenanigans. The 'Badabing' number (pork sausage, chilli and oregano) is being touted as the perfect beer companion, as well as the Italian Welsh rarebit. The 'J Lo' is a little more traditional than its namesake, with San Marzano tomato, bufala, speck and basil. Like any good Italian joint, great fresh ingredients are at the menu's core.
Applying a sustainable philosophy to the kitchen and restaurant, diners will have 15 taps of beer to choose from in an attempt to reduce bottle waste. All of Ladro Tap's organic waste is recycle, and diners wanting to start their own compost heap can buy a bag or organic rubbish for $2.
