Time Out says

Once you bite into a Half Moon falafel, there's no going back. Jostle your way to the counter of this unassuming little joint and order a warm pocket of tabouli, hommus, garlic yoghurt, pickles and black olives. They'll smoosh three crunchy Egyptian falafels onto the fillings to reveal a soft, bright green middle.

These falafels are made the traditional Egyptian way, with broad beans instead of chickpeas. They're velvety and so tasty you'll be starring Half Moon in your Google Maps.

A large glass counter reveals a multicoloured array of pickles, vegetable and dips, so you can modify your wrap exactly how you please. Enjoy yours with fried cauliflower, fried eggplant or house-made baba ganoush and yoghurt.

And once you've designed your perfect lunch? Demolish it in the communal courtyard outside, of course, and take a moment to appreciate Coburg's diverse population: students, musos, artists and local families. Not that you'll still be hungry afterwards, but if a sweet finish calls, you're sorted with baklava.
