Time Out says

Doughboys Doughnuts has finally set up shop in a permanent home in Melbourne CBD. Crowd favourite flavours combos like the Mint Slice, coconut crème and pineapple glaze, and the rich buttermilk cake glazed numbers now come out of the Bourke Street kitchen daily to be transported to the many cafes and coffee shops around the city.

The slick new space designed by architect Sarah Cosentino come with leather bench seats, a standing bar by the window for prime people watching position, and a glass cabinet where all the freshly dipped, filled and glazed doughnuts go to taunt morning commuters. As with his pop-ups locations, owner Walter McKenzie insists on making everything in house, from rising the doughs, making their own peanut butter to baking components for the doughnut toppings.
