Time Out says

Good news food truck fiends: if you’re taking a sabbatical to the Mornington Peninsula you no longer have to put your love of four-wheeled food on hold. Located right across from the beach in Rosebud, Beach Bites Lane is the Mornington Peninsula’s first permanent food truck location.

Started by the local owners of the Brazilian Bites food truck, Lea and Aldo da Silva Gomes, Beach Bites Lane has also hosted big city food truck faves like the Real Jerk Food Truck, Señor Churro, Roti Road, Pizza Wagon and Those Food Guys. Brazilian Bites are of course there on a regular basis too, so do yourself a favour and get some coxinha (crumbed and fried balls of chicken or spinach and ricotta).

In addition to offering a rotating selection of food trucks, Beach Bites Lane also has a pop-up bar with local craft beers, wine and bubbly all going for $6. Go down the caffeinated route with a coffee or keep the kids quiet with an ice cream – Beach Bites Lane is kid (and dog) friendly.

Beach Bites Lane is currently open seven days a week. Check out which trucks are currently cooking by visiting the Facebook page.
