As you enter this Greek sweet shop you’re welcomed by Achilles, hero of the Trojan War; the Greek palace named after him, ‘Achillion’, is lit up in blue neon. Greek pop videos play on an old TV in the corner – perfect background music for choosing between galactoboureko (baked custard squares of awesome), kourabiedes (little crescent-shaped walnut biscuits), or spanikopita (spinach and cheese pastries). You shouldn't begrudge the few extra kilos you’ve put on after visiting.
