For years the idyllic Mornington Peninsula has provided refuge for Melburnians looking for an accessible and relaxing weekend away. Before, the Peninsula Hot Springs were simply a stop in during said weekend – but now, you can frame your whole trip around it with the spa announcing overnight accommodation options.
The award-winning venue has opened ten glamping tents on its expansive Fingal grounds, right beside those famous natural hot springs. The tents are fitted out with everything you need for a comfy night stay including comfy beds, private ensuites, walk-in robes and thermally heated concrete floors (those thermal springs are clearly working overtime). Guests even get served breakfast in their tent, which you can enjoy on the deck right outside your tent.
As the glamping experience runs overnight, this now means the springs is running moonlit bathing sessions. You’ll be able to bathe in the pools after dark between 11pm and 5am, seven nights a week.
Glamping prices start at $650 per night. Find out more about everything happening at Peninsula Hot Springs here.
