Imagine waking up on a spritely morning in regional Victoria and gazing out of the window at endless rows of green vineyard. This is a reality at the historic Balgownie Estate, one of Australia’s premium small vineyards and an undisputed gem of the region.

This year, Balgownie Estate in Bendigo has introduced glamping accommodation just steps from their cellar door. From February 1, Balgownie Estate will have 15 luxe tents set up on their winery grounds. You’ll get stellar views of the vineyards and country Victoria, as well as being able to kick back with the knowledge that your next wine is only metres away.

Each tent is fitted with queen size beds and linen, split system air conditioning, a mini bar fridge and tea and coffee facilities. Step outside and there’s your very own outdoor lounge setting.

A separate lockable bathroom with shower and toilet facilities is only a few steps away, and there’s even a luxury tent with its own eco-friendly hot tub.
