It hurts us to say it, but we hope you’re spending your Saturday night indoors this weekend. But just because you’re social distancing to keep the community safe, doesn’t mean you can’t have a goddamn good time.

This Saturday night Pride of Footscray Community Bar is pushing on with its regular evening entertainment, just sans a physical audience. Celebrate pride inside this Saturday with Pride of Footscray’s live streamed drag variety show. The show kicks off at 8.30pm and features some of Melbourne’s top drag performers like Bathsheba and Max de Nardis.

Luke Foreser of the podcast The Gays are Revolting will also feature alongside a quarantine-friendly night of singing, interviews and performances.

The drag variety night is beaming into your lounge rooms for free, but you can show your love in the time of COVID by donating or calling in. Remember, performers and the entertainment industry are doing pretty tough right now, so your donation will mean a lot.

Visit the event page for more information and to tune in.

Soon you'll also be able to tour the NGV virtually.

And Melbourne zoos are live streaming their adorable animals.
