One of the most exciting things announced by the Victorian government as lockdown measures ease is that cinemas can reopen from June 22. To celebrate their reopening, the Lido, Classic and Cameo cinemas are back with a bargain – $10 tickets all week. It's an even better deal for members, who can score $8 tickets until Sunday, June 28.

The cinemas will be showing a mix of classic and new films, with new releases including searing #MeToo drama The AssistantAustralian drama Hearts and Bones, starring Hugo Weavingand Resistance, a WWII drama starring Jesse Eisenberg.

There will be plenty of classic films on offer too, like Casablanca, Singin' in the RainWest Side Story and My Fair Lady. Lido is also running a Barbra Streisand retrospective, with nine of her films playing for nine weeks straight.

The cinemas will be spacing out seating, offering hand sanitiser, only taking card payments and cleaning cinemas thoroughly between sessions in order to keep staff and moviegoers safe.

Here's what you can and can't do in Victoria right now.
