Ten luxury hotels across Melbourne are offering a night of free accommodation this April to help get locals and visitors back into the city. Hotels like Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, Hotel Windsor, Lancemore Crossley Street, the Sebel Melbourne Docklands and Quincy Hotel Melbourne are giving away a free night of accommodation when you book a one-night stay as part of Melbourne city council's FOMO hotel experience package.

Each offer is a little different depending on the hotel you pick, but the packages can include everything from a bottle of wine on arrival to free breakfast or late checkout, in addition to receiving two nights' accommodation for the price of one. Not a bad way to budget an autumn vacation or staycation.

Councillor Roshena Campbell says: "Before COVID-19 hotel occupancy in the City of Melbourne peaked at 95 per cent. Occupancy rates now sit at 36 per cent."

"We want to do all we can to encourage both regional Victorians and Melburnians to enjoy a holiday filled with all the things Melbourne does best."

The offers are available for stays between April 1 and April 30 – head to the website to find out more about the package and to book.
