While it's only been two years since Dua Lipa last toured Melbourne, we've been eagerly waiting for her return. No one does a dance banger like Dua, and with the release of her new album Radical Optimism last year, she has stacks of fresh hits we've been dying to hear live.

When is Dua Lipa in Melbourne?
Dua kicked off the Australian leg of her Radical Optimism Tour at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on March 17, the first show in a stint of five performances in our city. The remaining shows in Melbourne are on March 19, 20, 22 and 23. The question is, will Dua Lipa do a surprise pop-up show on that mysteriously empty Friday? We hope so!
Who is Dua Lipa’s support act in Melbourne?
Aussie pop girlie Kita Alexander is supporting Dua Lipa for her Australian and New Zealand dates – you may know her for the hit 'Atmosphere', a catchy dance collab with EDM larrikin Fisher. She has a similar vibe to Dua – powerful vocals and passionate lyrics with fun vibes, so it's absolutely worth getting to the gig early to catch her set.
How to get to the Dua Lipa concerts in Melbourne?
Public transport is considered the quickest and easiest option. You can walk from Flinders Street Station (it's a ten-minute stroll via Birrarung Marr or the Tanderrum Bridge) or from Richmond Station or Jolimont Station. Tram 70, 48 and 75 also all have stops near Rod Laver Arena. Be sure to allow plenty of extra travel time in case of a disruption.
There is parking available at the Eastern Plaza Car Park (Entrance D, Olympic Boulevard), and it's highly recommended that you pre-book your spot. Bookings close at midnight the night before the event.
What time will Dua Lipa come on stage in Melbourne?
Gates will open at 6pm, and the Rod Laver Arena website has stated Kita Alexander will come on at 7.30pm. Dua Lipa should start her set at around 8.30pm and it will finish around 10.15pm
What can I bring to the Dua Lipa shows?
There are specific rules for what you can and can’t bring to Dua Lipa’s shows in Melbourne – here are the main things to remember.
You can bring:
One bag that must be A4 size or smaller – cloaking is available via the Information Desk (Gate 4) or Show Court 3. Make sure you’ve also got your card (or digital pay on your phone) because the venue is 100 per cent cashless.
You can’t bring:
Professional cameras, audio recording devices, tripods, laser lights, illegal substances, alcohol, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades/skates, glass, cans, metal or hard plastic containers, banners larger than 1.6 metres, musical instruments and any large item that can't be placed under the seat. Smoke and vaping is also not permitted with ten metres of the external doors.

Are there any Dua Lipa tickets left in Melbourne?
Tickets to Dua's shows have been in high demand, with only two shows originally scheduled, she had to add three more after they sold out in a flash. There are only a small number of restricted view tickets available for the shows on March 19 and 20, you can snap one up on Ticketek.
