[title]Melbourne’s finest buskers will go head-to-head in the ultimate busk-off, presented by Time Out and Yenda Beer as part of Good Beer Week.
Battle of the Busker will be held at Melbourne’s new two-storey container bar Whitehart. Guests will enjoy Yenda beers and tasty eats while listening to some sweet tunes from the city’s best street musicians. They’ll also get to vote for their favourite busker on the night, with the winning musician taking home a prize pack worth nearly $2,000 from Time Out.
Time Out have 50 double passes to the event up for grabs. To enter, simply enter your details below before 10am on Thursday May 11.
Are you a busker? To register your interest to compete in the Battle of the Busker by emailing marketing@au.timeout.com before 10am on April 28. Please attach proof of your busker licence, a recording of you in action, image and bio.
The winning busker will receive:
- A $300 cash prize
- 1 x promotion in our weekly email newsletter ($1,250 value)
- 1 x annual subscription to Time Out ($25 value)
- 2 x tickets to the Time Out Food Awards in August ($110 value)
- A food and beverage prize pack including Yenda beer and restaurant vouchers ($300 value).
In addition, each busker will receive $100 for participating, as well as the opportunity to sell merch/CDs on the night.
Battle of the Busker will take place at Whitehart on Thursday May 18 at 6pm.
