Time Out says

Ten albums in, Pond’s momentum is showing no signs of slowing. Since forming in Perth back in 2008, the beloved psychedelic rock band has been painting stages silver all around the world. From being named NME’s ‘Hottest New Band in the World’ in 2012, to recently supporting Queens of the Stone Age across their Australian and New Zealand tour, Pond has been going from strength to trippy strength.

With an extensive North American tour currently in progress and their tenth album (which was recorded locally in Western Australia) about to be released, Pond will finally bring the show back home this winter. The album, titled Stung!, will bless our ears from June 21 onwards and the band will take to the stage the next week – giving you just enough time to learn all the words.

The magic will happen at Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Friday, June 28, for one night only. After one enchanting evening, Pond will jet off to continue the tour with stops in Brisbane and Fremantle. They’ll also play in Sydney on Friday, June 14, as part of Vivid.

Melbourne tickets are still available over here and they’ll set you back just $59.90. So, whether you’re ready to jump right in or you’re curious to dip your toe in the water, now could be the perfect chance to see Pond in the flesh.
