See the music scene stalwart in intimate, acoustic mode

Time Out says

American singer-songwriter Joan Wasser has been a force in music ever since she joined the Dambuilders as a violinist in the early 1990s. Since then she’s played with Black Beetle, Antony and the Johnsons and Those Bastard Souls, and since 2004 she’s been going solo under the stage name Joan As Police Woman.

Earlier this year she released Joanthology, a three-disc retrospective stretching over the course of her career. So you can be certain that she’ll be performing highlights from her six studio albums in this intimate concert at Melbourne Recital Centre. She’ll be in acoustic solo mode, stripping her songs back to reveal their beating hearts with just piano and guitar.
