Were you one of the unlucky souls trying to nab a ticket to Fred Again’s secret warehouse show in Melbourne tonight? Well, it’s your lucky day as Tixel has two golden tickets to see the sell-out DJ which it will sell for the grand total of $1.
The 28-year-old producer, songwriter and composer has not only helped produce chart-smashing hits for Ed Sheeran, Stormzy and Halsey, but also produced his own mix of house-electronica where he merges everyday samples and recorded conversations, as heard in floor-fillers such as 'Delilah (pull me out of this) and 'Baxter (these are my friends)' plus his debut solo single 'Kyle (I Found You)'.
In Australia ahead of his appearance at this year’s Laneway Festival, the London-based DJ and producer will join the stage with the likes of Haim, Joji and Phoebe Bridgers. After performing a sell-out show at the Forum on February 1, Fred Again announced another show on his Instagram this morning, imploring fans to purchase tickets for a “secret rave.”
The producer wrote, “I [really] wanted to try [and] do something for people who couldn't come to the show on Wednesday. So anyone who was on the waitlist for that will have received a text message for tickets for a rave [tonight].” The link was then made available at 11am, with all the tickets sold out in less than a minute.
But all faith is not lost! If you want to be in for a shot to see the UK producer, you must pre-authorise a ticket on Tixel, share it on TikTok or Instagram, and tag @tixelofficial and @fredagainagainagainagainagain. The winner will be announced at 7pm and the venue of the pop-up show will also be disclosed.
Sharing your wanted link increases your chance of scoring a ticket so act with haste!
