Time Out says

This NAIDOC week, beloved Aussie singer-songwriter and proud Gurindji man Dan Sultan is joining forces with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra (MSO) for two big nights of powerful ballads, and booming orchestral sounds.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of Sultan's third studio album, Blackbird. The album cemented the singer as an Australian music powerhouse, and since then hasn't stopped impressing us with his poignant lyrics, pure country tones, and bare, aching ballads and harmonies.

Last year, Dan Sultan headlined One Song: The Music of Archie Roach alongside the MSO – so it only makes sense that these legends would reunite once again at Hamer Hall this July.

On July 12 and 13, expect orchestral arrangements from Alex Turley and stunning original artwork from Sultan's longtime collaborator Jarra Karalinar Steel. Of course, be blown away by conductor Noongar man Aaron Wyatt and the sheer talent of Sultan and the MSO.

Tickets range from $70-$131, with a special price of $25 for Mob Tix. To find out more and to purchase tickets, head to the website here. But get in quick, the Friday show is selling fast.
