Time Out says

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve heard – maybe even done a TikTok to – Caroline Polachek’s anthemic ‘So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings,’ Now, you can hear it live along with hits like ‘Bunny is a Rider’ and ‘Sunset’ as the indie-pop artist has announced a slate of headline shows in Australia as part of The Spiraling Tour.

The American singer, songwriter and producer will perform three shows in Sydney and Brisbane, and two in Melbourne (co-presented by Always Live) on December 10 and 11 at the Forum. She's also one of the headlining acts at the Meredith Music Festival.

Now one of music’s inventive pop auteurs, Polachek’s first foray into the world of music was in Chairlift, an indie pop band that produced the nostalgic hit ‘Bruises’. After Chairlift, Polachek released her avant-pop debut studio album, Pang (2019), which included the catchy hit ‘So Hot You’re Hurting My Feelings.’

She was later announced as one of the opening acts on Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia tour before releasing the studio album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You to widespread critical acclaim.

Dubbed by i-D as “one of the greatest musicians of our time”, Polachek’s 2023 album
Desire, I Want to Turn Into You is now one of the best-reviewed albums of all time on Metacritic, garnering over 175 million streams.

Presented by Always Live, Caroline Polachek is performing two shows at the Forum on Sunday, December 10 and Monday, December 11. General tickets are released on Thursday, August 24 from 2pm local time, and you can get them on the Ticketek website here.
