Love Poof Doof but can’t cope with the late hours? Well now you can be the designated mum friend and still let loose. The team behind the massive queer party night are launching a brand new day party right next to the beach.
Head to Riva on St Kilda’s foreshore on Sunday, January 27 to check out All Sorts – an all inclusive queer day party with the same OTT decorations, dancers and artists that makes Poof Doof so damn fine.
Gracing the Riva beachfront for All Sorts is American house and techno DJ Seth Troxler who will be joined live by Robin S (fingers-crossed she plays her hit from the 90s 'Show Me Love') as well as some of Poof Doof’s regular stars. On the line-up is John Course, Sveta, Argonaut, Casey Leaver, Gay Roberto and Ben Renna.
Naturally, All Sorts is also bringing some of the country’s top queer performers to the party. Enjoy the Yummy cabaret crew, the (always outlandishly dressed) Huxleys, drag star Art Simone, non-binary performer Dandrogyny and Poof Doof’s drag hostesses the Doofettes.
Presale tickets go on sale Thursday, January 17 6pm with general sales from midday Friday, January 18.
