Andy Griffiths' and Terry Denton's The 52-Storey Treehouse, based on the popular kids' book of the same name, will be heading to Arts Centre Melbourne for a topsy-turvy kid-friendly stage performance. Kids and young-at-heart grown-ups alike can expect an adventure complete with a rocket powered carrot launcher, the amazing Disguise-o-matic 5000 and a Ninja Snail Training Academy. Yep, you read right: in this epic, ever-expanding treehouse, anything is possible.
In Terry and Andy's treehouse, kids can let their imagination run wild. The 52-Storey Treehouse takes place on Andy's birthday, which Terry has completely forgotten about! Watch as they attempt to overcome a hungry caterpillar, an angry vegetable kingdom, and the very slow 100-year voyage of a group of ninja-snails.
Suitable for kids aged six years and above, The 52-Storey Treehouse is a great day out for kids these school holidays. Book tickets now and pick up a Mr Bignose lunch box to munch on at the show if the little ones get peckish.
There will be an AUSLAN-interpreted performance on Saturday April 9, noon.
